About Jesse Joe & the 96ers

Anyone who lives in the Midland-Odessa area knows the toll of the oilfields. It is hard, back-breaking work-the kind that makes a man want to collapse on the couch the second he gets home. Jesse Joe is that hard-working, blue-collar type, but with one major difference: when the shift ends, the music begins.

Driven by ambition and a love for the craft, Jesse balances life on the rig with life on the stage. Fronting his band, Jesse Joe and the 96ers, he is currently touring in support of his latest record, Cherry Bronco (released February 26, 2026).

Jesse's passion materialized early, though in an unexpected genre. In 2011, he found his voice competing in rap battles at Pecos High School. Since 2017, however, he has been putting in long hours in the oil fields to provide for his wife and two children. Today, he channels that hustle into a unique country sound that honors his roots.

Jesse Joe has already shared the stage with industry giants like Bad Bunny, Post Malone, and T-Pain, and recently landed a cameo in the hit Paramount+ series, Landman. Whether on a drilling rig or under stage lights, Jesse Joe is proud to share his story with the world.

Jesse Joe presents his music in a traditional Texas Country Music gravelly voice but his songs are closer to rock than country. His shows are energetic and where the party always is!
